Hounds of Winter

Mercury falling , I rise from my bed. Collect my thoughts together, I have to hold my head. It seem that he’s gone And somehow I am pinned down by The Hounds of winter , Howling in the wind.

I walk through the day ; My scarf around my ears , I look for my companion – I have to dry my tears. It seems that he is gone -Leaving me too soon; I am as dark as December; I am as cold  as  a Manitoba snow dune.

I see his face as beautiful as the day.  Its easy to remember, Remember my love that way. All I hear is that lonesome sound. The Hounds of winter they follow me down!….

Feeling Better

I will probably delete most of this stuff, once I get used to this wordpress.com

This afternoon I had coffee with some friends downtown…and we complained about the weather and road conditions driving from Morden the past few weeks. It seems they have a brand new hospital to serve this thriving area of Southern Manitoba.

R. had trouble keeping her sink clean of dirty dishes she is so busy with fund-raising,and walking group… that she does not have time to even find a clean dish..so she will eating out every evening this week…I did my usual venting about the weather situation which was Canada from Feb20-March 6th,2007…thus curtailing my once in a lifetime travel to Halifax and Newfoundland. All agreed that it was quite unfortunate!
